Congratulations Margaret - Bootcamper of the Program for January, 2011!

Margaret - Well Done!
You are our Bootcamper of the Program!
I cannot believe that almost two years have gone by since joining Body Buster.  My first class was in April of 2009.  My girlfriend and I decided we wanted to get into shape for the summer and had heard fantastic things about boot camp.  I thought it was worth a shot because I dreaded going to the gym.  We did an internet search and chose Body Buster because it was close to home.  I’ve been hooked ever since.
There is so much that I love about the Body Buster Program.  I have to start off with our fantastic instructor Kara.  She keeps all of us motivated and encourages us to do our personal best in a safe, friendly environment.  The classes she plans are engaging and fun.  It is always a complete workout and I leave feeling that I have accomplished something.  I also enjoy sharing the experience with my classmates.  Seeing all the friendly faces each week and sharing the experience with them inspires me to try my best.  It is nice to have others around to share a laugh with when you are in pain and who keep you motivated to push through it.
I’ve lost 13 pounds since joining Body Buster and have gone down three jean sizes.  However, I don’t focus on what I’ve lost.  I am most proud of the endurance and muscle strength that I am gaining!!
Body Buster has become a part of my lifestyle.  I look forward to my Tuesday/Thursday workouts and the thought of not continuing doesn’t cross my mind.
My overall health has improved and it has rippled into all aspects of my life.  Not only do I see the results but I feel much better about myself.   I’m stronger, happier and more energetic!!!
This is going to sound clichĂ© but I feel that I have gained a new me.  Before Body Buster I despised running and wasn’t much for working out.  I still remember struggling to complete the one kilometer run my first class (it wasn’t really a run but more of a walk/jog combination).  I thought that I never would be able to run the full kilometer and envied the classmates that could.  But with the motivation of my instructor and the inspiration of my classmates I finally did complete the run and I continue to improve.  Now I enjoy running and sometimes catch myself doing it outside of class.  But most importantly I have gained confidence in myself.  I am proud of what I have achieved and happy that I am becoming a healthier person because of it.

Again, Congratulations Margaret! We are proud of you and your accomplishments!
